Every Woman Fitness is a collaboration between two long time teammates and friends who share a passion for creating community and sharing our learnings.
Nikki Kimball is a highly decorated runner specializing in the Ultramarathon. Nikki ran and won her first 100-mile race at the Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run in 2004. Western States is the oldest 100 mile in world. She again won in 2006 and 2007, becoming only the third woman to win Western States three times. In 2014, she won the Marathon Des Sables multi-stage endurance race on her first attempt. Over the course of her career, Nikki won many USATF National Championships and was named three times as the USATF Ultra Runner of the Year. Prior to running, her main sport was cross-country skiing. Nikki lives in Bozeman, Montana and is a practicing physical therapist, hunter and skier.
Kami Semick met Nikki during a 50 mile race in 2004 where the two started chatting, and really, never stopped. Kami, also a highly decorated Ultramarathoner, won the 2009 IAU World Championship in Torhout, Belgium, leading Team USA to a gold medal. Kami also won the IAAF 50km World Trophy race in 2009 in Gilbrater, again leading Team USA to gold. Winner of several USATF National Championships, Kami was USATF Ultra Runner of the Year in 2009 and 2010. Kami lives in Bend, Oregon. In addition to a history of running, skiing, mountaineering and multi day backpacking, her career has spanned the fields of management consulting, technology and local food systems.
